Meet the light
For me, an office does not have to mean brutal utilitarianism. Brash lines, cold modernity and austere strokes are not the only way to convey the authority of important people and to inspire awe in the visitor.
That mood, once created, speaks of taste, mastery and indulgence. It is the foundation I build for important people: absolute sophistication and, with it, an unmistakable sense of respected authority.
Sometimes all it takes is a hint of humour, a touch of down-to-earthness, even a play on cinematic imagery. Other times a warmer approach, with natural tones, greenery and cosiness, gives just the right impression of confident intelligence.
